Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with endorsements as a Reading Specialist and in Special Education, a Masters of Science in Elementary Administration, and an Education Specialist in Supervision (Superintendency). Mrs. Cobb is employed by the Robertson County Schools, where she is the county's new Family/School Liaison. This position allows her to engage families and communities in the education of children while boosting student achievement and school success. During her eighteen years with Robertson County Schools, she has served as Principal at two Title I Schools, taught Special Education in a middle school, taught science and math at another middle school, was Assistant Principal at a high school, and Principal in one of the elementary schools. Prior to moving to Tennessee, she served ten years in the Lebanon, Missouri R-III School district as a teacher and administrative intern. Her thirty year tenure as an educator also includes teaching two years with the International Mission Board (Southern Baptist Convention) in Indonesia. Her family lived on a working farm in the tropical rain forest where the infant mortality rate was 50% due to the lack of food. She is married to Tony Cobb, a life long resident of Robertson County. They have two children and are very active in their local church and other community organizations. Mrs. Cobb's compassion and devotion to the children she serves in the community are obvious. She has recognized the need for providing food and other basic necessities in the Robertson County area and has worked diligently to see that those needs are met. Her personal experiences and connections within the school district compliment other team members’ skills in implementing the goal of feeding children.
