SFSP Volunteers 2011

Volunteers were essential to the success of the program.  We do not know the identies of all the volunteers, but do appreciate their assistance.  If you helped this summer, but your name is not on the list, or you know of someone who is not on the list, please call 615-973-4323 so we can correct the omission.  These are the ones who helped at the feeding sites of whom we are aware.

In addition, I had a personal tragedy this summer and several members of my church family at the Main Street Church of Christ stepped up to help get the meals prepared.  Thanks to:

Dot Biggers

Lisa Duncan

April Jackson

April Jackson's mother

Liz King

Joe Rushing

Francis Swearingen

Jackie Williams

Also, members of the Main Street Church of Christ youth group helped with transporting items when we had to move from one kitchen to another.  They were:

Blake Atchison

Hunter Duncan

Ben Herchenhahn

Travis Williams

A special thank you is due the Springfield Baptist Church and the Main Street Church of Christ for making their kitchens available to us.  Without a place to cook, the meals would have been less appealing and less nutritious.
